Baylor Law School Presents People's Law SchoolFeb. 18, 2010
This is KWBU-FM 103.3. Taking a look now at local news, we focus on a place to get your legal questions answered. Central Texans can get questions about real estate, traffic tickets, and more answered without a trip to an attorney. The Baylor University Law School is putting on their 5th annual People's Law School this Saturday morning. Professor Patricia Wilson is spearheading the event.
Wilson said the People's Law School will offer some of their traditional courses, as well as some new offerings based on the interest of attendees in years past.
Classes begin Saturday morning, lasting one hour each. Wilson stresses that walk-ins are encouraged. Attendees will hear presentations from both practicing attorneys and Baylor law professors.
According to Wilson, registration opens up tomorrow morning at 8:45. Those in attendance can choose up to 3 classes with breaks in between.
The People's Law School is one of the Baylor Law School's larger community outreaches. Those interested can register at their website or show up tomorrow. For KWBU news, I'm Derek Smith.
