Shout! Black Gospel Music Moments - "Ain't No Sunshine"

The Crowns of Glory cover Bill Wither's "Ain't No Sunshine" hit and turn it into an apocalyptic tour-de-force.

Crowns of Glory released some particularly choice gospel LPs for Peacock Records in the early 1970s. The Crowns had superb male and female singers and could sound -and look like - Undisputed Truth. Their remake of Bill Wither's hit "Ain't No Sunshine" is a soulfully dramatic song about the resurrection of Jesus.
