8 more cases have been dismissed against Bikers for their alleged involvement in the 2015 shootout at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.

The District Attorney’s office dismissed 3 cases late Monday while others had to wait until Tuesday morning for the presiding Judge to sign off. Initially, 155 bikers faced charges after the shootout between rival motorcycle groups and the police. 126 cases have been dropped over the last few months.

Now, the DA’s office says it’s focusing on the roughly two dozen cases that were re-indicted last week on various felony charges.  Trials for those defendants could begin as early as August. Only one case has been tried so far, ending in a hung jury.

This Thursday will be the 3-year anniversary of the incident that left 9 dead and more than 20 injured. A rally is planned at the county courthouse.
