Country music fans will be flocking to Waco’s Camp Fimfo this weekend for the campout concert series.

Performers include Joe Nichols, Casey Donahew, David Lee Murphy, Roger Creager, Little Texas and headliner Randy Rogers Band.

Randy Rogers: “Waco has always kind of been a second home for me and I’m just looking forward to being on stage and looking forward to playing a new venue there at Camp Fimfo.”

Rogers will be performing his new hit single, “I Won’t Give Up,” which he says he wrote for his wife during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Randy Rogers: “You know very much about love and marriage and, you know, sticking it out and putting up with the good times and the bad. Just really happy for the success of that song.”

This will be the second year Camp Fimfo has hosted the campout concert series. Brian Crownover, the assistant general manager at Camp Fimfo, says after last year's success, it made sense to keep the concert series going.

Brian Crownover: “We’re very excited about it, get big names. It’s just crazy that we’re able to do this in Waco so we’re looking forward to it.”

In addition to the live music, there will be Texas style brisket and family friendly activities throughout the weekend.

Brian Crownover: “Kids can run around and play inside the gates, they can play around in the grass area outside. We are very open to just having a good time.”

Attendees can choose to camp on site or find tickets online at campfimfo.com.

Randy Rogers: “Have a safe weekend everybody, we love you from the Randy Rogers Band.”
