KWBU ReporterA Texas native, Autumn Jones is a 2x Emmy-winning journalist with a passion for storytelling. Jones reports on a diverse range of topics, from exploring the wonders of outer space to investigating public health. Her goal is to empower individuals with accessible, easy-to-follow knowledge to build healthy, sustainable lifestyles and become responsible stewards of the Earth. By sharing stories of our world, she works to create a lasting impact for future generations. Jones graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Journalism degree with a Science Communication Minor. She joined KWBU August 1, 2023.

At the 2024 SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership and Skills Conference, TSTC awarded $770,000 in $10,000 scholarships to 77 high school students who received gold medals. TSTC also awarded $500,000 in $1,000 scholarships to 500 graduating seniors who competed in this year’s SkillsUSA competition.
