Protecting the Texas Lesser Prairie Chicken
The Texas Lesser Prairie Chicken has caused a lot of drama for West Texas ranchers over the years. Agricultural, wind and oil development on the plains has threatened the species, and could force landowners to change their practices. As KWBU's Ryland Barton reports, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is deciding whether to list the bird as an endangered species.
