Interview: Kesha Rogers, the LaRouche Democrat For Senate Who'd Impeach Obama

Democrats will pick a U.S. Senate nominee in the May 27 primary runoff election.

The race is between two virtually unknown candidates. But Democrats around the state are going out of their way to campaign against one of them:Kesha Rogers. Rogers is a follower ofLyndon Larouche and calls for theimpeachment of President Obama

She talked with KUT's Ben Philpott about another position she's taken: ending the expansion of fracking in Texas to save water.

"What we're seeing right now in the state of Texas is the worst drought in this state's and nation's history that's devastating most of the West from West of the Mississippi, Texas and California. Now you're talking about taking millions of gallons of water in already depleted areas, extracting this water from the ground, and then using it for pulling up natural resources and gases."
