Social media has changed the way people consume and disseminate information. In this Baylor Connections, Dr. Mia Moody-Ramirez examines modern communication from a number of angles. Dr. Moody-Ramirez, a leading researcher in social media and politics, stereotypes found on social media and media framing of women and people of color, serves as a professor and Graduate Studies Director in Baylor Journalism, Public Relations and New Media.

Prior to joining KWBU in 2009, Riley served at Maine Public Broadcasting Network as Vice President Director of Television and at Nashville Public Television as Director of Local Programming and Production, and had earlier been Director of Production at KUAC in Fairbanks, Alaska.
