At Least 2 Dead After ‘Mass Casualty’ Incident At LyondellBasell Chemical Plant Near La Porte

Outside the LyondellBasell chemical plant near La Porte in unincorporated Harris County, on July 27, 2021. Two people died and others were hospitalized after a chemical leak.

The leak comes just days after a leak at a Dow Chemical plant in La Porte, and another LyondellBasell leak in Galena Park.
