Study Finds More People Of Color In Texas Die From COVID In The Prime Of Life

A candle tribute to individuals who lost their lives to the COVID-19 pandemic in Travis County is set up outside of the Long Center. The temporary memorial featured 450 battery-operated candles for 450 deaths at the time.

Though seniors of al ethnicities make up the largest number of COVID-19 fatalities, the rate of death among working-age people is higher for Black and Latino Texans.
