Baylor freshman Isla Ritchie was just 11 years old when she was diagnosed with epilepsy and had to take many trips to the hospital.
“I can't count how many times I've been there,” Ritchie said. “And you spend hours on end there. And you honestly, we're all unprepared.”
Her mom created their own version of a go bag and gave Ritchie the idea for this business.
The Go Bag features products people might need in an emergency. Since the business recently launched, Ritchie is currently making the Go Bags out of her dorm room, along with the help of her mom who lives across the state.
The Go Bag is not just marketed as a hospital emergency bag; Ritchie said it is good for day-to-day use, as well.
The product features a portable charging cord, a pill bag and a retractable hair brush with a mirror. The Go Bag retails at $22 and is available at https://gobagofficial.com/
