Waco Movie Club
Whether you're a dedicated cinephile or a casual appreciator, ALL are welcome at Waco Movie Club.
Each month we'll select a new movie which we'll watch independently, and then we'll convene at a certain location on a certain date (both of which can be found on the KWBU COMMUNITY EVENTS page) and discuss said movie. It really is as simple as that.
Whether you're new to town and looking to meet people within your community or you're a local looking to fill your social circle with like minded lovers of film, Waco Movie Club is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, connect with old friends, and share your passion for motion pictures.
In between meetings why not get to know members better, take the discussion deeper, and share some of your favorite films in our dedicated Waco Movie Club Facebook Page. Introduce yourself and join the conversation or perhaps start one of your very own.
Winner of 'Best feature Film' at the 2024 Waco Indie Film Festival.
The film follows Ben (played by Chandler Riggs) who brings Cassie, his girlfriend (Samantha Isler) to his rural Oregon hometown for the holidays, only to have things go wrong.
On Thursday 12th December KWBU and Waco Indie Film Festival will be hosting a screening of the film over at the Waco Performing Arts Community Center over on Austin Avenue. The screening is free and open to everyone.
