Waco Movie Club
Whether you're a dedicated cinephile or a casual appreciator, ALL are welcome at Waco Movie Club.
Each month we'll select a new movie which we'll watch independently, and then we'll convene at a certain location on a certain date. It really is as simple as that.
Whether you're new to town and looking to meet people within your community or you're a local looking to fill your social circle with like minded lovers of film, Waco Movie Club is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, connect with old friends, and share your passion for motion pictures.
In between meetings why not get to know members better, take the discussion deeper, and share some of your favorite films in our dedicated Waco Movie Club Facebook Page. Introduce yourself and join the conversation or perhaps start one of your very own.
MAY 2026 - MONTHY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL
Bring out your dead (or maybe just some friends) and join Waco Movie Club for Monty Python and the Holy Grail! It's a gloriously absurd quest packed with killer rabbits, questionable shrubbery, and arguments about swallows.
Watch the film on your own, then gather with us to debate life’s biggest questions: “What… is your favorite color?” and whether it’s ever wise to shout “Run away!”
Expect laughs, lively conversation, and at least one person insisting, “It’s just a flesh wound.”
Baylor University professor, Greg Jurls, leads the discussion, so get ready to dive in, quote, and maybe even defend your honor as a Knight who says “Ni!”
Discussion begins at 7:30pm
