Each month we'll select a new movie which we'll watch independently, and then we'll convene at a certain location on a certain date. It really is as simple as that.
Whether you're new to town and looking to meet people within your community or you're a local looking to fill your social circle with like minded lovers of film, Waco Movie Club is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, connect with old friends, and share your passion for motion pictures.

AUGUST 2026 - THE TERMINATOR
This month, the Waco Movie Club is taking on a sci-fi classic: The Terminator. Watch the movie at home beforehand, then bring your thoughts, theories, and favorite hot takes to the discussion on Thursday, August 20th for a lively conversation with fellow movie fans.
We'll talk about the film itself, and how its ideas about artificial intelligence connect with today's world. It's like a book club... but for movies! The discussion is free and open to everyone, whether you're seeing The Terminator for the first time or the fiftieth. Join us at 7:30pm August 20th at Cultivate Waco on Austin Avenue in downtown Waco. Plus, this event is BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks.
