KWBU announced today that Joe Riley, president and CEO, will retire effective Jan. 17, 2026, following 16 years of dedicated service to public radio in Central Texas.

During the December 2, 2025 Waco City Council meeting, KWBU was honored to receive a proclamation from the Mayor and Council, recognizing December 2, 2025 as KWBU 25th Anniversary Day in the City of Waco.
