The Mayborn Museum has welcomed Scooby Doo and the rest of the members of his gang in their Mystery Machine for the summer.

The Mayborn Museum has welcomed Scooby Doo and the rest of the members of his gang in their Mystery Machine for the summer.

Scooby Doo Mansion Mayhem in the newest exhibit to open April 22 of this year, traveling all the way from the Children’s Museum of Minneapolis. This immersive exhibit features a real life Mystery Machine and will allow visitors of all ages to help the Mystery Gang along new and exciting puzzles in hopes to solve the case.

Assistant director of Mayborn Communications, Rebecca Tucker Nall, said this exhibit was picked with the museum’s younger visitors in mind for the upcoming summer months.

“We definitely want them to be educational, and we want them to be fun and appealing,” Tucker Nall said.

Along with the museum's seasonal exhibits it has an impressive growing collection of natural science and central Texas history

“There's always just something new to learn,” Tucker Nall said. “We are either working on a new exhibit to develop or we’re exploring new partnerships or were bringing in new exhibits, so nothing is ever the same so you can really be a lifelong learner.”
