Here's how to register to vote for November's election

The deadline to register for November’s general election is one week away. If you need to make any changes to your registration, or you haven’t registered to vote yet, you must do so by October 7.

"If you’re not registered we need to get in a voter registration application as soon as possible," McLennan County Election Administrator Jared Goldsmith said.

To register, Goldsmith said that you can start an application online, but it must be mailed or dropped off in person to the Elections Administration Office. You can find that application and check your voter registration at votetexas.gov.
