On this week's edition of Dowtown Depot, Austin Meek updates us on the over $1.6 million dollars of TIF funding for three projects. Two projects are on the ascendant Elm Avenue corridor. Also the annual check-in with Waco district four city coucilman Dillon Meek.

Austin Meek
Austin Meek is an entrepreneur based in Waco, Texas. For his media company, Waco Business News, he documents Waco's economic revitalization and hosts the radio show and podcast, “Downtown Depot,” on 103.3 KWBU-FM. For Pokey O’s Cookies and Ice Cream, a food truck and storefront that he owns and operates with his wife, he serves as Chief Cookie Monster. Additionally, he is developing a retail and entertainment center on Elm Avenue in East Waco. Austin and Julia are proud parents to their daughter, Stevie, age 1.
