This morning Waco firefighters responded to a series of fires, which add to the recent string of blazes – some of which have been considered acts of arson.
At around 1 a.m. this morning, firefighters were alerted to a blaze in the 700 block of North 35th street…and they put out the fire, Waco police informed them of another – this time in the back of a pickup truck.
After that, around 2:30 a.m., firefighters were informed of another vacant house fire in the 4000 block of Huaco Lane.
Last year, the Waco Fire Department investigated 12 fires – but ultimately no arrests were made in connection with those fires.
