It’s been just over a month since the shootout at Twin Peaks that left 9 dead, 18 injured and 177 arrested for engaging in organized crime, and now the Bandidos Motorcycle Club is calling for the release of video evidence and autopsy reports in the case.

In a statement released on Monday the club says the Waco Police Department is feeding “false information to the public” while refusing to disclose vital evidence. Las Vegas-based attorney Stephen Stubbs helped the club write and distribute the press release.

“Hopefully the press release clears up some of the misinformation that is out there, specifically about why they were there – that’s very important to them," Stubbs said. "They were there for an organized political meeting and nothing else.”

Despite increased calls for transparency from the public, new information has yet to be released. Waco PD says it’s because releasing that information could affect their investigation. Police spokesperson sergeant Patrick Swanton couldn’t be reached for comment, but in a post on the Waco PD Facebook page, he said when the videos are released they’ll “show exactly what was started by bikers and how it led to officers having to use deadly force to stop their violence towards each other and Law Enforcement (sic)"
