The McLennan Community College Foundation has awarded a record-breaking amount of student scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.
$712,749.59 has been raised for students enrolled at MCC, the largest sum of student scholarships the Foundation has awarded in its 33-years of fundraising.
The MCC Foundation operates to provide students and faculty at McLennan Community College with professional development, scholarships and quality higher education.
The Foundation works with alumni, local philanthropists and local foundations to ensure that students have the financial assistance they need to attend college, and that faculty have the resources they need to create a positive learning environment.
While the 2023-2024 MCC Foundation scholarship application has closed, current and prospective students can apply for 2024-2025 school year scholarships. Applications open Friday, December 1st.
