On Thursday, hundreds gathered in a Baylor Law School practice courtroom to watch the Supreme Court of Texas hear oral arguments in two cases.
Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock said the court travels a couple times a year.
"We try to give Texans around the state an opportunity to see what they can see in our courtroom on a regular basis, but often don’t get the chance to see," Blacklock said.
After the cases were heard, the court opened up a brief question and answer segment for the audience. The court will make decisions about the two cases at a later date.
