The Department of Transportation is hosting a an open-house style public meeting Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame for the Business 77 project. During the meeting, attendees will be able to review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TXDOT staff and leave comments.
The Department of Transportation is planning to make updates to Business 77 between I-35 and University Parks Drive. The updates will include pedestrian and bike accommodations, replacing pavement and replacing existing bridges.

The date for a second public meeting has not been set yet, but there is one planned for 2026. Construction is expected to begin in 2028.
