More than a dozen holiday performances are set to run December in Waco. Here's a list of some of the performances you won't want to miss.

HOME ALONE IN CONCERT

The classic Christmas movie is coming to Waco Hall, accompanied by the Waco Symphony Orchestra. The Waco Symphony is also collaborating with the Youth Chorus of Central Texas and the Central Texas Choral Society.

DETAILS: November 30, 2 pm at Waco Hall, 624 Speight Avenue. Tickets start at $36 per person.

A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS WITH HOLLY TUCKER

Waco native and The Voice season four finalist Holly Tucker hosts her annual Christmas concert at the Waco Hippodrome. You can expect to enjoy the classic Christmas music we all know and love with, of course, a country twist, and maybe even a surprise guest or two!

DETAILS: December 6, 7 pm at the Waco Hippodrome, 724 Austin Avenue. Tickets start at $20 per person.

UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER IMPROV

Celebrate the season with laughter at Brazos Theatre's annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Improv Comedy Show! The cast will take your holiday suggestions and turn them into an evening of spontaneous, Christmas-themed comedy. Prizes for the best (or most ridiculous) holiday sweater.

DETAILS: December 6, 7:30 pm at Brazos Theatre of Waco, 7524 Bosque Boulevard, Suite Q. Tickets start at $16.50 per person.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Mission Waco brings the story of A Christmas Carol to life at the Jubilee Theatre. The production features actors in the Mission Waco youth and adult programs.

DETAILS: December 5 - 6 at 7 pm and December 7 at 1 pm at the Jubilee Theater, 1319 North 15th Street. Tickets are $10 per person.

EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME)

Designed for audiences of all ages, this show blends comedy, music, and theatrical magicinto an evening of laughter and warmth. The three-man show features classic Christmas tales, like A Christmas Carol and The Nutcracker plus a few more silly tales.

DETAILS: December 4 - 7 and December 11 - 14 at the Waco Civic Theatre, 1517 Lake Air Drive. Tickets start at $24 per person.

CHRISTMAS IN THE LAND OF OZ

This Wizard of Oz twist on How the Grinch Stole Christmas features the familiar cast of characters, Dorothy and the Tinman, trying to bring some holiday cheer to Oz.

DETAILS: December 19 - 21 at Waco Civic Theatre, 1517 Lake Air Drive. Tickets start at $17.50 per person.

THE NUTCRACKER

This holiday classic returns to Waco, featuring Ballet Frontier, and accompanied by the Waco Symphony Orchestra. The performance will also feature local youth performers and proceeds benefit the Waco Symphony Orchestra.

DETAILS: December 14 at 2 pm at the Waco Hippodrome, 724 Austin Avenue. Tickets start at $32 per person.
