Ashley McKeown

Hi there! My name is Ashley Goldberg-McKeown. My father-in-law started this book review many years ago. I'm here to continue his legacy. And what a legacy it is.  First and foremost, I am a lover of books. I have been a voracious reader since I was 7. Books literally are my happy place. I am also an honored daughter in law of the great Jim McKeown, who happens to be the starting and driving force for the series' likely stories. I am a mother of one beautiful little girl. I graduated culinary school in 2006 and spent a good part of my life working many jobs at the Waco legend, Buzzard Billy's. In order to be on the same schedule as my daughter I took a job at her preschool five years ago, and while she moved on, I never left. While my days are filled with loving sweet babies, I also cook, and cater with my husband at Camp Fimfo. I am a born and bred Wacoan, and this community has meant the world to me.
