Beth Richards

Beth has been in radio broadcasting since the early age of 19! She began her adventure in public radio in January of 2021, and loves being part of the amazing team at KWBU.

Beth is also the owner and director of The Brazos Theatre of Waco, which she founded in early 2013. Beth and her husband, Marcel, are proud parents of three grown children, and very proud grandparents of Maddy. 

She spent most of her “formative years” in Temple, moving to The Netherlands in 1997. She and her Dutch-born husband were married in The Hague, and lived there together for seven years before relocating to Waco in late 2004. 

She attended Temple College and the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, studying Vocal Performance and Theatre.

Beth began hosting and producing Broadway on the Brazos (Sun. 7pm on KWBU) in September, 2024.
