Katie

Katie started as KWBU's Digital Media Specialist in July of 2026. She brings a range of experience across disciplines including marketing, design, illustration, copywriting, and project management. She got a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas and an M.F.A. In Illustration and Visual Culture from Washington University in St. Louis. She believes strongly in independent journalism and is thrilled to be working with KWBU.
