KWBU announces new show, partnership changes with The Waco Bridge.
Before we get into the news from around Waco and the state, I wanted to share some important station news. You may have seen this week that KWBU is making some changes to our local programming. And one of those changes is this show!
The weekly news show, "Friday Forum with the Waco Bridge," allowed our two organizations to partner in a new way this past year. Over the summer, we’ve re-imagined what a weekly news show might look like. And what we landed on was "Brazos Bulletin," a new weekly news magazine hosted by me.
You’ll still hear news from around Waco; you’ll still hear from newsmakers around town; and you’ll still hear the voices of Waco Bridge reporters. Now, you’ll also hear news from around the state, with some local context.
It’s an evolution in our partnership with the Waco Bridge – one that allows both of our teams to focus on the reporting you’ve come to expect from us.
