November 7 News Roundup + Malcolm Foley Interview

This week, co-hosts Molly-Jo Tilton and JB Smith will be looking at the local impact of Tuesdays election results, a new historical marker at the courthouse, and more.

They'll also be joined by Reverend Dr. Malcolm Foley to talk about Baylor's new Monument to Enslaved Persons.

Plus this week's trivia question: The new courthouse historical marker honors Sheppart Mullens, a formerly enslaved Wacoan who went on to serve as a state legislator after the civil war. By the end of the 19th century, white Texans had retook control of state government and we would not see another black legislature until Barbara Jordan became state senator in 1966. Who was the last Black Texan to be elected as a legislator before Jordan? Listen to this week's Friday Forum to find out!
