AARP Pushes Congress For Tax Credit To Help Family Caregivers

An assisted living facility in South Austin. AARP says a tax credit could help family members who help pay, in part, for their loved ones' assisted living fees.

The organization wants a tax credit of up to $5,000, which would help about 3.4 million Texans cover the cost of caring for older relatives.
