Waco Indie Film Festival 2025

From July 17th to the 20th Waco Independent Film Festival will be bringing an abundance of world class cinema to Downtown Waco. But it's more than just a collection of top tier films that will be showcased.

The festival invites you to engage with the creative forces behind the work courtesy of Q&A sessions. Plus, with a number of parties, events, and gatherings happening, it's a great opportunity to make new friends from the fellow cinephiles and casual movie lovers in our community.

TICKETS FOR KWBU MEMBERS

If you have donated to KWBU in the past year then you are eligible to receive an "admit one" ticket for yourself and up to one guest. The tickets provide access to one film block or panel or screenplay reading at the festival.

To claim your tickets contact Loretta at loretta_howard@baylor.edu or 254-710-7887

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The BEST way to join the fun, get involved, help share meaningful stories, and be a part of something very special is to volunteer.

Are you able to share some of that warm Texas hospitality? Then, become an integral part of Waco Independent Film Festival by scanning tickets, setting up parties, and welcoming guests.

As a festival volunteer you’ll get access to the films, parties and masterclasses. OR if you are a huge film buff, you can volunteer to screen films for the program!

Love making movies?  Love watching movies?  Love helping your cultural community?

Here's how YOU can get involved.

Here at KWBU we've had the pleasure of previewing some of the films being showcased at this years festival. So we thought to give you a sneak peak we'd share some of our favorite shorts from this years fantastic lineup.
