SHOUT! Black Gospel Music Moments - 'Is There Anything Too Hard for God?' by The Kansas East Sunshine Band Children’s Choir’s

One of the more surprising projects I’ve heard recently is this collaboration featuring several Church of God in Christ children’s and youth choirs, titled Young & Gifted Recorded Live! By The Kansas East Sunshine Band Children’s Choir, Young & Gifted Recorded Live! – even the full band is mostly composed of teenagers.

It’s pretty good, too – I kid you not! All of the tracks are fun, but my favorite gospel song is “Is There Anything Too Hard for God?” boasting the talented and oh! so sassy vocals of 9-year-old Crystal Morris. The song itself is slow and funky, with lots of chanted unison vocals by the mass choir... and it makes me smile each time I hear it!
