SHOUT! Black Gospel Music Moments - All These Things to Me by The Stars of Virginia

The Stars of Virginia were founded in 1960 with four talented members of the Celestial Choir of Shiloh Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. Their energetic live shows created a strong fanbase throughout the mid-Atlantic states until they caught the ear of veteran producer Richard Simpson.
        
The resulting LP, Lift Every Voice and Sing for the powerhouse Atlantic Records label, is a stunner. Released in 1968, it produced several hit singles, including their heartfelt version of the title track and the joyous single, “All These Things to Me.” Despite other great songs and even a stint with the touring production of Black Nativity, the Stars of Virginia faded away – but “All These Things to Me” – fortunately – endures!
